The General Alumni Association of Fisk University, Inc., in 2011, launched a Recruitment Committee for Fisk Alumni participation. Key goal is to boost the alumni involvement nationally through the regions in cooperation with the Office of Admission. Participants also include non-alumni who are friends or family of alumni.

Members of the Alumni Recruitment Network attend College Fairs, identify prospects and participate in conference calls held the last Tuesday of each month from January through November 2014, 9 p.m. (Eastern)/8 p.m. (Central).

The Office of Recruitment and Admission, in partnership with the General Alumni Association/Recruitment Committee provide a recruitment status. The conference calls are for all interested Fisk alumni and those who have indicated an interest in supporting the Alumni Recruitment Network’s efforts. Karriem A. Dean ’96, chair of the GAAFU, Inc. Recruitment Committee, serves as the facilitator/host.

Objectives:
Review the current overall recruitment performance
Review plans for ongoing staff and alumni recruitment
Discuss alumni recruitment best practices
Introduce tools available to assist alumni with recruitment
